Standard Double Room #38

  • 2guests
Antiques (chairs upholstered in floral silk and velvet, an oak armoire) and mod statement pieces (the minimalist four-poster bed) on untreated wooden floors make this 24sq m room homey and elegant. We love the considered touches, such as the selection of coffee-table books and the fake-fur throw on the bed, and the bedroom window looks out over the city through the Moorish-style grill on the façade, casting pretty patterns on the floor. The ensuite has stone floors and a rainfall shower, and rooms have a Bang & Olufsen flatscreen TV and DVD player, sound system and iPod dock, Nespresso coffee machine, chocolates, free bottled water, bathrobes and slippers and Meraki bath products. Windows overlook the Bernstorffsgade side, so there will be some street noise.
