These eight 100sq m suites, in the hotel’s most family-friendly lodge, have a large viewing deck from which to spy animals in the savannah. There’s a private plunge pool and alfresco shower too. Lelapa Lodge has four dedicated 100sq m family suites, each with a large, peaceful viewing deck, private plunge pool and alfresco shower. (Children aged five and under stay free, six-to-12 year-olds stay at 50 per cent of the adult rate, and 16-year olds will be charged at the adult rate). These bedrooms have bunk-beds, toys, books and games, and mini bathrobes and slippers – kids get hot-chocolate at turndown, too (plus some more surprises).
