• Day of arrival: Arrival at Kaner Retreat with lunch. Post lunch – Orientation to Thar – A storytelling nature and culture walk that explores the local plants, famine foods and modern inclusions in the Thar desert. Evening Tea –Enjoy tea and welcoming desert breeze. Dinner - Signature Thali experience. Star gazing and story-telling session.
• Second day: Visit to Kheechan (a Ramsar site)- Local breakfast with Demoiselle crane watching. (Please contribute Rs.300 pp to the local conservator for his efforts.) Mediterranean inspired Lunch at Kaner. Evening tea followed by Jeep Safari in the uncharted wilderness. Dinner - Enjoy dinner on the Dunes.
• Third Day: Morning - Camel workshop with riding optional. Breakfast in the glasshouse lounge. Post Breakfast - Plug into adventure – Paragliding (optional) Kaner Clay - A guided exploration of the exclusive Thar desert pottery exhibition at Kaner followed by a 7 course lunch experience themed on the exhibition. Evening Tea on a hillock while sun sets. Dinner - Modern Marvar dining experience.
• Fourth Day: Breakfast with adieu to Thar. Replug into life with memories of Thar alive.
• Wellness - A massage. A relaxing massage using olive oil and botanicals from the Thar desert. (This will be charged extra and is to be pre booked and not included in this package.)
