Deposit Policy

Hotel Esencia - The Set Collection requires a deposit of 50% of the booking total, which will be charged to you directly by the hotel. The remaining balance is due prior to arrival. For stays 16 April to 15 November & 29 November to 17 December, reservations require 50% initial deposit, and remaining balance due 7 days prior to arrival. For stays booked within 7 days of arrival, 100% deposit is required. For stays 16-28 November & 5 January to 14 April, reservations require 50% initial deposit, and remaining balance due 14 days prior to arrival. For stays booked within 14 days of arrival, 100% deposit is required. For stays during the Festive Season 18 December to 4 January, reservations require 50% initial deposit, and remaining balance due 95 days prior to arrival. For stays booked within 95 days of arrival, 100% deposit is required. For stays in Pool Villas, Presidential Suite, Villa Yum Ha, and Esencia Mansion, reservations require 50% initial deposit, and remaining balance due 90 days prior to arrival. For stays booked within 90 days of arrival, 100% deposit is required. A processing fee of $100 USD applies for any modifications or changes made between the time of booking and when the cancellation policy goes into effect.

Cancellation Policy

For stays 16 April to 15 November & 29 November to 17 December, cancellations made prior to 7 days of arrival are refundable less a $100 processing fee; cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will incur a penalty of 100% of booking total. For stays 16-28 November & 5 January to 14 April, cancellations made prior to 30 days of arrival are refundable less a $100 processing fee; cancellations made 29-15 days of arrival will incur a penalty of 50% of booking total; cancellations made 14 days or less before arrival will incur a penalty of 100% of booking total. For stays during the Festive Season 18 December to 4 January, cancellations made prior to 121 days of arrival are refundable less a $100 processing fee; cancellations made 120-91 days of arrival will incur a penalty of 50% of booking total; cancellations made 90 days or less before arrival will incur a penalty of 100% of booking total. For stays all year round in Pool Villas, Presidential Suite, Villa Yum Ha, and Esencia Mansion, cancellations made prior to 91 days of arrival, are refundable less a $100 processing fee; cancellations made 90-61 days of arrival will incur a penalty of 50% of booking total; cancellations made 60 days or less before arrival will incur a penalty of 100% of booking total.
