Setting

Ain’t no mountain high enough

Hotel Chetzeron, a converted gondola station in Switzerland turned ski-in, ski-out boutique stay, looks out over alpine summits, from the towering Matterhorn to the peak of Mont-Blanc. This eco-friendly mountain-top stay has just 16 rooms, but each has breath-snatching views and a sleek, oak-lined interior. There’s a dainty spa with a tension-busting sauna, and a heated outdoor pool with serious snow-capped views. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the traditional Swiss restaurant and in the cosy bar a fireplace crackles while drinks are poured. Do we love a ski stay with all home comforts? Yes we fondue…
