Deposit Policy

Hotel Castello di Reschio requires a deposit of a one-night stay, which will be charged to you directly by the hotel. The remaining balance is due prior to arrival. A deposit of one night is required when you book and the remaining balance is due 31 days before arrival after which the deposit is non-refundable. For reservations of € 10,000.00 a deposit of 35 per cent is requested to confirm. For reservations of less than €10,000.00 a credit card guarantee is requested. For four or more rooms, a deposit of 35 per cent is due upon booking; a second deposit of 35 per cent will be taken 30 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are free of charge when made up to 31 days before arrival; those made between 30 and 15 days of arrival will be charged 50 per cent of the total stay; those made within 14 days of arrival, as well as no-shows and early departures, will be charged in full. Cancellations made within 30 days due to Covid-19 travel restrictions will be credited the total amount to put toward another booking within 12 months of the original date. For bookings of eight people (or four rooms) a separate policy will apply; cancellations are free of charge when made up to 31 days before arrival; those made between 30 and 15 days will be charged 70 per cent of the total stay and those made within 14 days of arrival will be charged in full.

These 30sq m rooms are in the castle, with custom BB for Reschio furniture, beamed ceilings, a four-poster king-size bed and views of the courtyard and the surrounding hillsides. There’s an ensuite bathroom with a shower; some have a bath tub in the bathroom or bedroom. Two of these rooms are suitable for wheelchair users. Each has air-conditioning, a minibar, free bottled water, tea and coffee kit, and Ortigia bath products.

Grand Rooms

Located at the heart of the castle, these approx. 50sq m Grand Rooms have been designed to encourage a slower pace of life. Featuring custom furniture by B.B. for Reschio, including a four-poster king-size Campaign Bed, a bar, and a luxurious dressing table, you'll simply never want to leave. Complimented by antique pieces, each room has its own character; while some are quirkier than others, all are cloaked in history housing a unique collection of photographs, paintings and sculptures from times gone by. Each has air-conditioning, a minibar, free bottled water, a tea and coffee kit, and Ortigia bath products.

San Michele Suite

Overlooking the Niccone Valley and next to the San Michele Arcangelo church, these 55sq m rooms have exposed stonework, a four-poster king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with terracotta floors, a bath tub and a shower. The custom-made furniture includes a Tuscan-marble sink, and the walls are graced with antique oil paintings and classic photography. The suites on the ground floor have a private garden. They overlook the courtyard and surrounding hillsides. Each has an ensuite bathroom with a bath tub and a walk-in shower; in some rooms, the bath tub is in the bedroom. The 85sq m Grand Suites are in the castle, with beamed ceilings, hand-picked antiques, original oil paintings, vintage photographs and custom BB for Reschio furniture, including a four-poster king-size bed and a Tuscan-marble wash stand. They overlook the courtyard and countryside. Some have stone fireplaces or a sofa bed. Each has an ensuite bathroom with a bath tub and shower; in some, the bath tub is in the bedroom. Tower Suite

This 180sq m suite is the biggest in the hotel, set across five floors of the castle’s tower. It has two bedrooms – each with a four-poster king-size bed and ensuite bathroom with a bath tub and walk-in shower – and can sleep up to four guests. There’s a roof terrace with 360-degree views of the surrounding hillsides, a garden and a hot tub; along with a living room and a study. The entrance crosses the gateway to the castle. You’ll also find air-conditioning, a minibar, free bottled water, tea and coffee kit, and Ortigia bath products.
