There’s one Superior Room (29sq m) in Casa Arbol. Original features – patterned tiles on the floors, heirloom artwork and 17th-century wooden ceiling beams – have been preserved, and mod furnishings have been added, including minimalist four-poster beds and brightly coloured prints hung on the white walls. There are two double beds (to sleep up to three adults or two adults and two children), and a contemporary bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower. Casas have a flatscreen TV, iPod dock, radio, air-conditioning, free bottled water and WiFi, and Antica Farmacista bath products. There’s direct access to the shared interior courtyard and communal kitchen, and guests have a private butler throughout the stay.
There are three Luxury Rooms in each of Casa de los Mapas, Casa del Arbol and Casa Macoris. Each room has well-preserved original features, including intricately patterned tiled floors, and artwork on the walls. Decorative Dominican furnishings have been added – statement-piece queen-size or king-size beds, wicker chairs and bold-hued prints. Contemporary in style, bathrooms have either a freestanding bath tub or a large walk-in rainfall shower, and Antica Farmacista bath products. The 470sq m Royal suite is in Casa del Diseñador and has an outdoor lounge area and a private plunge pool; inside, there are two bedrooms (each with an ensuite bathroom); an open-plan kitchen and dining area; and a living room. The master bedroom (63sq m) has a king-size bed; the second bedroom has twin queen-size beds. Both ensuite bathrooms have a bath tub, a walk-in shower and Antica Farmacista bath products. All suites have an iPhone and dock; a flatscreen TV; air-conditioning; a safe; and free WiFi throughout. A butler and chef are on-call during your stay. An extra baby-cot can be added to the suite on request.
