Small Double Room

  • 2guests
There are six of these rooms, each dressed in a unique way but in cosy country style with soft rugs, framed prints, woollen throws and vintage-style lighting. Room 2, in the main house, looks out to Longleat drive and has a king-size bed and small bathroom with a walk-in shower. Room 4 overlooks the pub gardens and has a king-size bed and walk-in shower. Room 5 overlooks the leafy hotel gardens and has a super-king-size bed and walk-in shower. Room 11 is especially cosy, set in the stable blocks; it has high beamed ceilings, a king-size bed, ensuite with a shower over the bath tub and courtyard views. This room can interconnect with Large Double 10 for family stays. Room 12 has high ceilings, courtyard views, a bathroom with a shower over the bath tub and the option to add a sofa bed. And room 17 has a double bed, ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and views over the valley towards Longleat – it’s generally peaceful, but you may hear the pigs nearby. Dog-friendly rooms are available on request (it's an extra £10 a night per dog). All rooms have a TV, radio, Siberian goose-down duvets, tea- and coffee-making kit, Bramley bath products and free WiFi.

Medium Double Room

  • 2guests
Each of these six rooms is individually designed, in low-key yet luxe style (think, eye-catching artwork, toe-snuggling rugs, plump headboards and regal lamps). All except one (Room 15, a double) has a super-king-size bed. Room 3, in the main house has a walk-in shower and views overlooking the mature gardens (this would work well as a family room). Room 6 is in the attic and has lower ceilings, a large bathroom and views of the front of the house. Room 8, also in the attic, has low beamed ceilings, a bathroom with a bath tub and two entry steps. Room 9, another attic room, has a bath tub and lovely views of the green. Room 14 is set in the stable blocks and has garden views, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a couple of steps to the door; this room can be twinned on request and there’s a sofa bed. And room 15, set towards the back of the stable blocks, is very peaceful with an ensuite shower; however, you may hear Longleat’s lions roaring here – a plus for some. Dog-friendly rooms are available on request (it's an extra £10 a night per dog). All rooms have a TV, radio, Siberian goose-down duvets, tea- and coffee-making kit, Bramley bath products and free WiFi.

Large Double Room

  • 2guests
There are four of these elegantly dressed rooms, set in the main house and in the former stable block. All are stylish with restful colour palettes and cosy touches, but are individually dressed. Room 1 sits in the main house above the bar. It has village views, a super-king-size decorative four-poster bed and an ensuite bathroom with a freestanding bath tub and walk-in shower. Room 7 is in the attic (so watch for lower ceilings) and has a super-king-size bed, day-bed to recline on and a bathroom with a freestanding bath tub. Room 10 is in the stable block, close to the main house and has high beamed ceilings, a super-king-size bed and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. And Room 16 has a super-king-size-bed, a bath tub placed romantically in the bedroom and an ensuite shower, plus there’s a sofa bed. Dog-friendly rooms are available on request (it's an extra £10 a night per dog). All rooms have a TV, radio, Siberian goose-down duvets, tea- and coffee-making kit, Bramley bath products and free WiFi.
