Where you'll go
This wine flight takes a different turn on every tour – and can be tailored by region, colour and vintage as you wish. It's a rare opportunity to be paired up with gourmands with such full-bodied knowledge of wining and dining in Italy. You’ll join Gina and Eleonora for an edifying evening in known-by-the-locals cellars, osterias, formaggerias and more, learning all about the best vintages, from grape to glass.
What you'll try
You’ll see, swirl, sniff, sip and savour wines from Rome and the Lazio region’s best bottles – taking notes and refining your nose, before trying your new sommelier skills at the end. Your glass-half-full guides will help you read between the vines; you’ll learn about grape varietals, producers, tasting tips and more. Cheeses, salumis and cicchetti-style snacks will keep you from getting too tipsy; and, fans of rare Amarone, Barolo or Franciacorta can ask for those bottles to be dusted off.
Experience location
You will be meeting at a chichi caffè near a cultural landmark in Trastevere; we’ll send you the details in your confirmation.
