Where you'll go
Starting on Brook Street, Elizabeth will guide you through the heart of Mayfair via Grosvenor Square, South Audley Street, Berkeley Square and beyond. You’ll also take in Mayfair’s famous garden squares, a rare chapel-at-ease, a superb Neo-Gothic church, and visit the Second Duke of Westminster's London townhouse for light refreshments.
What you'll learn
As you stroll through Mayfair’s streets and gardens, Elizabeth will use key landmarks to paint a picture of the area as it developed, explaining Mayfair’s transformation from a hundred acres of fields bisected by hedges, unpaved tracks and a now-hidden river, into a sophisticated aristocratic enclave in the heart of London.
