Ben Leask

Shopkeeper and retail expert

Ben Leask is a retailer through and through. His love of shopkeeping began behind the counter at his father’s jewellery shop, in turn leading to positions at a host of London retailers including a celebrated cheesemonger and chocolatier. Drawing on his wealth of experience, he then opened his own shop, only stocking products made in London. When he’s not running or developing new businesses, Ben writes about retail and good shopkeeping for the Evening Standard.

Rediscover the joy of shopping at London’s best retailers, a hidden web of independent stores aimed at bon vivants.
