Tuk-tuk driver

Having grown up in London and spent time in Melbourne, food and art enthusiast Evi-Elli La Valle had always been spoiled for choice when it came to galleries, bars and restaurants. When she moved to Siem Reap in 2015, she was pleasantly surprised by the breadth of its creative and culinary scenes. To help visitors make the most of them, she started a travel company that specialises in food, drink and art tours. Her team of friendly tuk-tuk drivers will whizz you round the city’s best bars, galleries and restaurants, ensuring you can tick off multiple highlights in a single evening.

Leave the tourist trail behind as you eat your way across Siem Reap.

Where you'll go
You’ll kick off the evening with aperitifs at Wild, a cocktail bar serving globe-trotting tipples and spicy spring rolls. Next, try classic Khmer food at the Sugar Palm, helmed by one of Cambodia's best-known chefs. Your final stop will be Mie Café, a Cambodian restaurant in a traditional wooden house.
What you'll sample
You’ll get a drink each at every stop (you can choose from cocktails, wine, beer, juice and other soft drinks). At Wild, try the Alice in Wonderland cocktail made with local watermelon and kaffir lime leaves. While you sip, you’ll have your first dish of the evening – a platter of delicious spring rolls. Your main course will be at Sugar Palm, where chef Kethana serves authentic Khmer dishes that she learned from her mother and grandmother. Your final stop will be Mie Café, where you’ll have sharing desserts. Dishes are pre-ordered for each stop, so you’ll need to make the tour operator aware of any dietary requirements.
