Night vision: an after-dark London tour

An illuminating night walk past London’s landmarks and less-obvious drinking dens with Telegraph travel journalist, Sophie Campbell.

It’s a little-known fact that London is even more beautiful at night, but this expert-led tour sets out to shed some light. With journalist Sophie Campbell as your guide, you’ll take in riverside landmarks, storied alleyways and decadent drinking dens. The after-dark trail starts by St Paul’s Cathedral, before crossing the Millennium Bridge. As you traverse the Thames, you’ll spy buildings old and new rising along the riverbanks, from Shakespeare’s Globe to the Tate Modern. Next, plunge into Borough Market for refreshments before looping back across Tower Bridge and into east London’s ever-evolving bar scene to finish the day the British way (in the pub)…
