Photography enthusiasts can follow local insider Greg Brophy to capture Chinatown stirring awake (before most of the city’s had its first cup of coffee).
This early morning experience allows you to capture a unique perspective on a famously fascinating New York neighbourhood as it comes to life in the morning. You’ll wander past market stalls, stalk eye-catching backdrops and pick up some serious street photography skills: what a way to work up an appetite for breakfast.
Brooklyn-based photographer Greg Brophy documents New York’s disappearing neighborhoods. A graduate of Syracuse University, he works primarily with medium- and large-format film and uses alternative printing methods to connect the finished piece with the subject matter. An avid traveller, Greg can be found snapping photos in London, Athens, Valencia and Buenos Aires when he’s not searching for interesting angles or guiding photography enthusiasts across New York’s city streets.
Eye-catching angles, fleeting street scenes and colourful market stalls – you’ll catch them all with the click of your shutter
