Where you'll go
You’ll be collected from your hotel and driven to Angkor Wat, where you’ll buy your own day pass. Once inside, Geoff will manoeuvre you away from the crowds to shoot the golden light at sunrise, help you capture close-ups of the intricate carvings and document daily monastic life. Depending on the day, you may shoot the many-faced façade of Bayon, the lush landscapes at Ta Prohm, the bas-reliefs at Banteay Kdei or the tumbledown romance of Ta Nei.
What you'll learn
To help you make the most of your visit, Geoff tailors the tour to your interests. Whether you prefer to shoot details, landscapes or portraits, you’ll see your eye improve rapidly as Geoff offers his guidelines and gentle critique on creating arresting compositions, framing and set-ups. After a morning spent in the quieter parts of the ancient temple complex, documenting its lesser-seen angles and daily monastic life, you’ll have a camera full of striking highlights from your day.
