When to go

Days are long and warm from December to February, and the vineyards are at their most robust from March to May. Winters (from June to August) are relatively short, but can see more rainfall and frost; the spring months of September to November are generally mild and pleasant. Overall, Marlborough enjoys more sunshine – over 2,300 hours a year of it – than most of the country.
