  Palma Airport is the closest, just a 40-minute drive away from Santanyí – or an hour’s drive if you choose the more scenic south-coast route.

  A car will come in handy here – while Santanyí itself is a delightful country town, it’s largely a jumping-off point for beach-hopping and roaming the wilder surrounds. You can pick up some wheels at Palma Airport.
