Getting there

  • Planes

Kos International Airport is on the western side of the island and is served by hundreds of European and global destinations. London is well-served, with direct British Airways flights starting in May, 2019.
  • Boats

You can island-hop from Piraeus in Athens on a ferry that takes 11 hours to get Kos, stopping at Rhodes, Patmos, Leros, Kalymnos and plenty other sun-soaked isles. There’s also a boat that takes 40 minutes from Kos Town to Bodrum, on the Turkish mainland.
