Balmy breezes and quiet beaches make late spring and early autumn all the more appealing.
Getting there
Planes
Athens International Airport is a 30-minute drive from Lavrio port. From here, take a one-hour ferry to Kéa, or private boats can zip you to the island in half the time.
Automobiles
A car will allow you to explore Kéa’s ancient cities and secluded beaches at your own pace. If you picked up a set of wheels in Athens, you can bring it across to Kéa on certain public ferries; rentals are also available once you reach the island.
