Reporting to: Head of Travel Industry Sales

The Travel Industry Sales Executive will report to the London-based Head of Travel Industry Sales and be primarily responsible for supporting all B2B partner sales and development. We’ve grown our global travel agent programme significantly over the last year, with over 3,000 agents booking Mr & Mrs Smith hotels through our online booking platform. Not only that, but 100+ million IHG One Rewards Club members can now earn and redeem their IHG points on nearly half of our collection. The Travel Industry Sales Executive role is key to the next phase of Mr & Mrs Smith’s growth in the US through these strategic reseller partnerships. You will be expected to contribute to the wider partnerships team globally, ensuring the business continues to invest in the areas of largest return.

Responsibilities

• Support the Travel Industry Sales team as the main point of contact for our travel agent partners across The Americas, providing travel advice & support relating to bookings

• Serve as the main point of contact for any after-sale support queries relating to our loyalty partnership with IHG

• Support the wider partnerships team with any B2B partner requests and marketing opportunities

• Maintain service levels by responding to all inquiries in a timely and effective manner

• Assist the smooth running of processes for key strategic B2B partners, such as the British Airways Holidays’ Health & Safety assessment process and inventory on-boarding with Audley Travel

• Set up all new travel agents on Mr & Mrs Smith’s travel agent booking portal, providing any support required to encourage their first booking and ongoing use of the portal

• Assist with researching new travel agent booking partners

• Ensuring competitiveness by improving product quality at our top hotels & markets ahead of any partner marketing campaigns

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team, prioritising a busy workload

• Travel industry experience, preferably within an online travel agent or other online environment

• Exceptional communication and organisation skills

• Attention to detail and exemplary follow up

• Familiarity with Google Drive and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency is a must), and quick adoption of new systems (Salesforce experience a plus)

• Commercial acumen and an analytical mindset

• Love of boutique hotels and experiential travel

• Have confidence when working in a dynamic environment with a mature outlook, professional attitude, and team-oriented approach

• Legal eligibility to work in the United States
