Our all-important panel is made up of discerning, stylish and well-travelled tastemakers from across the world – from DJs to designers; hotel lovers all – who have argued the merits of all our entrants with honesty, insight and good humour to eventually settle on the proverbial cream of this year's crop.

Michael and Darroch founded their namesake Putnam & Putnam in 2014, bringing fashionable flair to floristry. Now fans include the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Vogue and Bergdorf Goodman, and their book Flower Color Guide was published by Phaidon last year.
Well-dressed jetsetter Chris is Mr Porter's US editor. Formerly he was executive editor at Interview magazine and an essayist and editor covering pop culture for the likes of The Paris Review and The Atlantic.
As a social media superstar and special projects editor at Harper’s Bazaar, Chrissy is an authority on all things style – regularly posting to the magazine’s four-million-plus followers, whether from their base in New York or on her travels to fashion weeks around the world.
Street-style sovereign Julia has been crowned fashion editor-at-large at titles from i-D to Vogue for her larger-than-life approach to inventive cover shoots and keenly-crafted editorials.
Lucy is a New York-based photographer and writer who frequently contributes to Condé Nast Traveller, Afar, Travel and Leisure and Vogue Australia and shoots for a host of high-end clients. She also helms travel site These Foreign Lands and will travel far for a spot-on snap…
Creative consultant Matilda's work straddles fashion and interiors, styling and events, whether that's collaborating on stationery with Papier, set-dressing high-society weddings or selling her own winningly crafted wares.
Layo spent 100 days a year in the world's top hotels as one half of DJ outfit Layo&Bushwacka! He was behind legendary London club the End and bar AKA, too. After retiring from both, he moved into restaurants, opening the acclaimed Palomar, the Barbary and Evelyn’s Table at the Blue Posts.
Globetrotting Australian photographer Rhiannon shoots for the likes of Condé Nast Traveller, Architectural Digest, Time, Tourism Australia, and Etihad Airways as well as helming the ever-popular inspiration hub, In Bed With.
