Getting there

• Planes Santorini’s airport is roughly 15 minutes away by car. Easyjet flies direct from Gatwick (www.easyjet.com). A taxi to Imerovigli costs around €15.
• Trains There are no train services on the island. If you arrive by ferry, it will take you 15–20 minutes to get to Fira from the port. You’ll find car hire companies and taxis when you get off the boat. Fira is about a 10-minute drive.
• Local taxi service The local taxi numbers are +30 22860 22555 and +30 22860 23951.
• Automobiles It’s easy to get to the villa from the airport; head north as you leave and the drive should take around 15 minutes.
