Getting there

  • Planes Adelaide International Airport (www.aal.com.au) is a 15-minute drive away.
  • Trains Interstate trains pull into Adelaide Parklands Terminal (13 21 47; www.gsr.com.au; Railway Terrace, Keswick), about one kilometre south west of the city. The nearest train station on the Adelaide suburban network (www.adelaidemetro.com.au) is Adelaide station itself, about 15 minutes walk away on North Terrace. The Glenelg Tram runs down King William Street stopping near the Sturt Street intersection, a 10-minute walk from the property.
  • Local taxi service Taxis proliferate in downtown Adelaide: try Suburban Taxis (13 10 08), Adelaide Independent Taxis (13 22 11) or Yellow Cabs (13 22 27).
  • Automobiles Sturt Street runs east-west through Adelaide’s central city grid, stretching between West Terrace and Whitmore Square in the south-western corner of this grandly planned rectangle. NB City is the middle terrace in a cluster of three, on the south side of the road at the Whitmore Square end of the street.
