Bedrooms
The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed and a gorgeous sleigh-like couch. The grey marbled master bathroom has a rainshower and milk-chocolate cabinetry. The second bedroom can be set up as a lounge or as a bedroom, which sleeps up to four, depending on the number of guests. In its lounge form, there are two slate grey daybeds and a tan coloured couch. The white bookcase has plenty of texts to pore over.

Kitchen
Kitted out with everything you’d need to make a feast. There’s a blender, microwave, toaster, oven and an eat-in bar which seats two.

Living room
Two living rooms are on the first floor. The first with cosy striped couches, a glossy coffeetable, space-age cherry-red and banana-yellow chairs and a three-blade ceiling fan. The second sitting area, opposite the dining table, is a more classic affair with four leather club chairs, a sleek flatscreen TV and a cowhide rug

The dark wood dining table seats six, but you could squeeze in up to eight.
- Private parking Standard parking is available on the street, but can be hard to come by. Alternatively, try one of the four 24-hour garages nearby, for US$18-20 a day.

Eating and drinking
Inside the custom arrival kit – available upon request and for an additional fee – you’ll find two bottles of wine, coffee, tea and spices. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, dishwasher and cookware. Ask about private catering.

Entertainment
The apartment is kitted out with two 42” HD TV’s with premium cable, and a sound system with iPod connections. There’s a Bose iPod dock in each room.

As well as the usual Smith-standard linens and bath towels there’s organic hand soap.
Packing tips
Bring additional power adaptors for all of your gadgets if you’re wired. No need to lug books, there are plenty of interesting reads scattered throughout.
