There's a Spar up the road for basic provisions; for anything a little more ambitious you'll have to wend your way through the winding mountain road to the big supermarket in San Josep. The shop that steals the headlines around here though isn't anything as humdrum as a grocery store – the owners of the villa have an acclaimed interiors shop called Ksar which sells their hand-sourced global furnishings (twig-framed mirrors, Ganesh statues, embroidered Indian drapes) as well as bespoke bathroom fittings as well as stylish bags and other accessories (www.ksarliving.com).
