Tony is a filmmaker and sporadic nomad. As an old leftie, he has pangs of guilt about travelling in luxury, although his experience reviewing for Mr & Mrs Smith has helped him to work through that. Born in Macau, Tony has lived in Australia since he was a small child. As writer, director and producer he's been responsible for a clutch of award-winning productions, including Walking on Water, his feature film debut, and The Home Song Stories. He and Mr Smith live in Melbourne; he doesn't think of himself as Mrs Smith.
