Sarah Cumberland

Worldly writer

Australian journalist Sarah was fresh out of uni when she first acquired a penchant for fluffy bathrobes on a romantic weekend away with her new boyfriend (now Mr Smith) at the Brisbane Hilton. Almost 20 years down the track, the romance is still going strong. Much travelling has been done for work and play, particularly by Mr Smith who, as a pilot, has become very particular about the standard of hotel breakfasts. Sarah and Mr Smith (a self-confessed obsessive Francophile) are now based in France, not far from Geneva where she works as an editor at the World Health Organization.
