As an active researcher, Rosie has a vast resume of international travel, courtesy of the many conferences that constitute the only perk of academic life. Sadly most of these travels involve destinations whose main claim to fame are major convention centres. Thankfully her passion for skiing and high-altitude mountaineering has taken her to far more exotic and far-flung places that should, hopefully, bolster her cred with Mr & Mrs Smith readers.
