When people asked a young Jenni Avins what she wanted to be when she grew up, she replied, ‘a bird’. Though she misunderstood the question, her answer wasn’t far off. Jenni has flown around the world, writing about travel, food, fashion and art for publications such as vanityfair.com, Gourmet and Marie Claire. She has called Rio de Janeiro, New Zealand and Santa Barbara home. Today she nests in New York, where she is a multimedia journalist.
