Helen Veale is a TV producer who, together with Laura Mansfield, runs Outline Productions, the TV company responsible for the series based on the Mr & Mrs Smith guidebooks, along with hit parental-guidance programme The House of Tiny Tearaways and a range of high-profile hits for from BBC 2’s money-wise cookery format Economy Gastronomy to Channel 4’s ambitious factual entertainment event Dumped. Before setting up Outline, the Cambridge graduate was a freelance producer-director, and she has always enjoyed indulging in huge amounts of Italian food and wine.
