Born and bred in London, Catherine now lives on the island of Isla Mujeres in Mexico. She divides her time between scuba diving and writing for magazines about travel, culture, design and anything else that takes her interest. She fell in love with hotels as a small child, when she first discovered the joys of ordering room service on a family holiday to Ibiza. This romance continues happily to this day, despite a short-lived love affair with camping.
