Benji Lanyado
Budget-travel blogger
Benji Lanyado is the Guardian's budget travel columnist, and is also a regular contributor to the New York Times travel section. Most of his friends quietly hate him because of this. But he doesn't mind, really, because his mum will always love him. He spends his spare time feverishly updating his three Fantasy Football teams, writing (mostly) rubbish on a variety of blogs, and hunting down salt-beef sandwiches where he can get them. He dreams of one day representing Finsbury Park in a cross-London disco-thrusting competition.
