Anne Kornblut

Political reporter

A jaded traveller in her day job as a political reporter for the Washington Post (previously, the Boston Globe), Anne Kornblut can usually be found in less-than-cutting edge hotels in places like Iowa and New Hampshire when she is not at home in Washington, DC. A graduate of Columbia University, New York, she covered the early years of the George W Bush administration, and in so doing had the pleasure of traveling to four of the six continents with the President (not exactly her ideal Mr Smith). Kornblut authored the book, Notes from the Cracked Ceiling: Hillary Clinton, Sarah Palin, and What It Will Take for a Woman to Win published by Random House in December 2009.
