Carli Ratcliff

Food writer

Based in Sydney, Carli is happiest exploring the cuisines of elsewhere. Named Best New Writer at the 2010 Australian Food Media Awards, her favourite dining destinations are Paris, Tokyo and Tasmania. Her trips are always planned around food experiences, ensuring she eats well and, usually, too often. She writes regularly for The Sydney Morning Herald, Monocle and national broadcaster SBS’s magazine Feast. Her Mr Smith travels for work across the developing world, clocking up even more frequent flyer miles than she does, but usually subsisting on beans and rice.
