Alex Larman’s earliest wish was to write about some of the world’s finest hotels and restaurants in wittily compelling ways. This ambition has now been fulfilled, in no small part thanks to Mr & Mrs Smith. When he’s not disporting himself through luxurious dining rooms and spas, he writes about literature and the arts for various publications, as well as dipping a toe into the field of publishing by editing an eclectic range of memoirs and biographies.
