- Planes Ballina/Byron Gateway Airport (www.ballina.info/airport) is 30 minutes from the hotel, and is serviced daily by Jetstar (www.jetstar.com.au; 131 538), Virgin Australia (www.virginaustralia.com; 13 67 89) and Rex (www.rex.com.au; 13 17 13) with direct flights from Melbourne and Sydney. The hotel can arrange airport transfers with prior notice.
- Trains CountryLink (www.countrylink.info; 13 22 32) runs train and coach services to Byron Bay from all main cities in New South Wales, as well as from Melbourne and Brisbane. A taxi can get you the last 2kms to Victoria’s or a transfer vehicle can be arranged with prior notice.
- Automobiles Byron Bay is a nine-hour drive north from Sydney or a two-hour drive south from Brisbane. Cars can also be easily hired from the rental companies at Ballina Airport for those who are flying in but still want their own wheels.
