Nice hotel but Ubud is too much touristic.

Stunning valley location, try the free yoga sample class (seriously) for the best view in the place. Quality restaurant and helpful staff. The walk to Ubud (not down the road, via the valley) is definitely worth doing. Masses of decent restaurants in the centre of Ubud and a few minutes walk from the hotel – Naughty Nuri's Warung and Grill for example (+62 (0)361 977 547).

Lovely hotel with an excellent spa. Make sure you get up for the breakfasts as they were awesome – no need for lunch. The bar was very nice an comfortable but also very quiet. In fact Ubud was generally the same so don't go there if you're expecting life past 11.
Oh and don't even think about walking to Ubud. Get a taxi!
