Ubud Hanging Gardens is about 20 minutes' drive outside the small rural town of Ubud in Payangan village, in the lush heart of Bali, a 90-minute drive north of capital Denpasar.
- Planes International visitors fly into Ngurah Rai International Airport (www.baliairport.com), just south of Denpasar, on carriers including Garuda, Singapore Airlines, Jetstar and JAL, as well as many more. Once you've touched down, you can buy a Visa on Arrival, if required, which costs US$25 for 30 days. The process is much quicker if you pay by cash.
