Lovely break in Tiara Yaktsa. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Eat in the restaurant in the hotel – the food is absolutely gorgeous and beautifully presented. Drinks are on the expensive side. Get a sea-view room if you can; the views are fantastic.

During our stay at Tiara Yaktsa we rented a car and travelled up the Riviera Coast towards Monte Carlo and had a terrific picnic lunch in Antibes. We got there on a Saturday just as the market was closing down, and wish we had gotten there in time to visit it entirely as it looked fabulous, so we bought a roasted chicken and various other accoutrements for a picnic lunch along the many massive walls that line the city. Fantastic. We also had a dinner at the fantastic restaurant at the hotel, and I'd recommend booking early and requesting a table along the outer railing to secure the best view, they were all taken when we got there. The service is terrific and the food exquisite.

OMG, a wedding anniversary spent in heaven. Everything about this hotel oozes quality, and our stay was just divine. Sipping our complimentary Mr & Mrs Smith bottle of champagne at the infinity pool overlooking the beautiful French landscape, life does not get better than this. Thank you Tiara Yaktsa for making our anniversary so special.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, in fact we stayed an extra couple of nights and would have loved to have stayed longer if we could. The staff were all very friendly and were really good with our two-year old son. We were more than happy with our Prestige room but since there was a fault with the air conditioning, we got upgraded to a beautiful suite. We ate twice at the restaurant and although not that much choice on the menu, it was delicious and the two best meals we had. We found a patisserie in La Napoule opposite the car park about 10 min drive towards Cannes, with a very tempting selection of cakes, tarts, croissants and baguettes. Nice change for breakfast and I can recommend the almond croissants in particular. We will definitely be returning to Tiara Yaktsa.

The hotel menu is lovely but a little short and you don't always want the full fine dining experience. Try the Pomme Amour (don't be put off by the name) in La Napoule – husband and wife-run, great food, enjoyable wine list, good service and way, way above its neighbouring pizza places. Just what you need after a hard day at the pool. And avoid Les Bartavelles – OK food but overly sharp billing...
