If you're planning a wedding bash, the Spire's Inspire Champagne & Wine Bar is a smart place to host a sexy shindig or for a larger gathering try the restaurant, which hosts formal wedding breakfasts for 22 or larger buffet gatherings. Some rooms face onto nearby St Peter's Church and the surrounding gardens, a popular place to get married.
Need to know
The Spire can cater for wedding parties from just two to 26 for a sit-down dinner or 45 for cocktails and canapes. However, there is a minimum spend of NZ$2,500 to hire out the bar or restaurant exclusively, and NZ$4,000 to hire them both (marquees are not on offer). The maximum number of wedding party guests who can stay overnight is 20 plus children.

The hotel can soundtrack your nuptuals or even lay on local musicians, as well as handling requests for flowers, cake, bridal treatments, a photographer or limousine.
