  Superstar and Iron Chef competitor Jose Garces tackles Mexico City street food at Distrito, the buzzy house restaurant. A special ‘patio kitchen’ includes a smoke pit where the chefs slow-roast spiced brisket, chicken and racks of lamb. The menu also includes tacos, sangria and Mexican beer.

• Dress code Dapper desert wear. Lunch is quite casual.
• Top table There’s plenty of beautiful patio seating, though tables get misted with water during the hottest days. Inside, grab a seat closest to the tall windows for the most light.
• Last orders In high season (mid-September to mid-May), breakfast is served at Distrito. In the off-season, Old Town Whiskey serves a free breakfast buffet on weekdays. Dinner is served at Distrito from 5pm until 10pm. Old Town Whiskey is open from 3pm until 10pm.
• Room service Full breakfast, lunch and dinner, including tacos, burgers and salads can be brought to your room from 6:30am until 10pm.
• Hotel bar

  Old Town Whiskey is a lively bar with prohibition-era cocktails and a full menu of bar snacks, burgers and shakes. The Western-themed bar pours more than 100 whiskies and bourbons, and has outdoor seating with a fireplace.
