Crèche
Ofsted-registered, open from 10am–5pm, free to residents and offering a wide range of supervised activities which change daily.
Activities
Youngsters needing to burn off some energy can help in the Kitchen Gardens and learn how to grow vegetables, or splash around in the swimming pool or bubbly hydro pool. For older ones, there’s table tennis, air hockey, table football, a huge outdoor play area, a trampoline and an Xbox.
Swimming pool
The indoor pool is 1.2m deep throughout and you'll need to supervise little ones (no lifeguard). You can borrow inflatables, floats or armbands.
Meals
Children are welcome in the Brooke Restaurant, except during dinner service (7pm–9.30pm). High tea is served daily from 5pm-6pm for little ones. There is a children’s menu and high chairs are available. You can have milk heated up and also request packed lunches for day trips. The Pear Tree Brasserie is designed with children in mind, so tots are always welcome.
Babysitting
Hotel staff can provide babysitting but book ahead.
No need to pack
Extra beds and cots are available, along with bottle sterilizers, a fridge for milk and nappy kits. Changing mats are available on request.
