Hardly ever have we felt so at home in a foreign country – in Alison and Richard we met the perfect hosts. Schoone Oordt means beautiful place, and it truly is. Impeccable service. Every morning we found our car washed – amazing. The breakfast is superb – ask Alison for her muesli recipe. Spacious, cosy rooms. We will be back.

A beautiful hotel. We arrived in a massive storm and the fact that the power was off in the town made our stay all the more enchanting by candlelight. We can't wait to go back. Andrew and Carina

Great place in the country - breakfasts are to die for so don't eat too much supper and the Smith packed lunch filled us up for the journey home. If you're here during the whale season, make sure you go and see them. The roads are a little unmade, but feels like a proper adventure.
