The hotel can arrange transfers from Hamilton on request.

Disembark at Hamilton from where you will need to take a taxi or arrange with the Royal Mail to be picked up by a transfer car. VLine (www.vline.com.au; 136 196) also runs a train and bus service direct to Dunkeld.
- Automobiles Driving from Melbourne; take the Western Highway to Ballarat and then the Glenelg Highway to Dunkeld. The drive is a leisurely three and a half hours.
