Hummingbird Bakery is a stone throw's away from this hotel - the red velvet cupcakes are definitely worth the wait.

I had the opportunity to go to Sake no hana (+44 (0)20 7925 8988) in St. James Street, in the Economist Building. The restaurant is very good Japanese food, really well done. Good choice.
