Getting there
- Planes L’Hôtel is 20km from Paris Orly. Private transfers from the airport cost €150. There’s also the Orlyval train (www.orlyval.com) to Antony, where you can change to line B of the metro, heading toward Charles de Gaulle. L’Hôtel is 500m from Saint-Germain-des-Prés station, down Rue Bonaparte and then Rue des Beaux-Arts. Charles de Gaulle airport is a 40-minute drive from the hotel. Hop on line B from the airport to St Michel, where you can change to line 4, heading in the direction of Port d’Orleans.
- Trains The Gare du Nord is a 15-minute taxi ride away, or a few stops on line 4 of the metro from Saint-Germain-des-Prés station (500m from the hotel). The city is served by Eurostar (www.eurostar.com) and SNCF (www.sncf.com) trains.
- Automobiles L’Hôtel is on the Left Bank, almost right opposite the Louvre. From Paris’ Boulevard Peripherique, it’s a quick 15-minute drive down Boulevard Brune, Avenue du Général Leclerc and Boulevard Saint Michel. No need to worry about finding parking in the centre of the city, either; L’Hôtel has its own.
