The Guestbook

The service in the hotel is outstanding and the staff can't do enough for you. We booked a room with our own private pool which, unfortunately, despite the warm weather was freezing. We didn't realise that the pool could have been heated for only an extra 300MAD a day. We highly recommend that from October onwards you arrange to have your private pool heated. They will then also provide you with an endless supply of pool towels for your private pool.  Our other recommendation is that you don't venture into the souks without a guide.  The hotel will organise an excellent and very experienced guide who will keep you safe and prevent you from being harassed.

Just returned from the paradise hotel that is Les Deux Tours - what an amazing place. We went there for my husband’s 50th birthday and as soon as we arrived we felt the benefit of the tranquil atmosphere. The weather was glorious, and we soaked up the sun all day long around the glorious, blue swimming pool, after indulging in the extremely tasty and plentiful buffet breakfast. The first night, we took advantage of the hotel's free shuttle into the new town, and ate at an excellent restaurant, run by a women, which is called Al Fassia. For our return, the hotel organised a taxi to pick us up costing around 150Dhs. On our second night, we ate in the hotel restaurant, which although costing slightly more, was definitely worth it. The food was amazing and the ambience was blissful. We are already planning our return trip next year.

The hotel is a charming boutique-like hotel and well worth a visit. Although quiet at the time, due to recent political stuff, with just a few people around, there seemed to be things happening whether it be at the pool, in the restaurant or at the bar. I recommend trying to get one of their better rooms with a private courtyard, as it gives privacy and a feeling of space, and if you are lucky, like we were, a private Jacuzzi on your own terrace. Food was limited there but a couple of trips into the city are worth the visit and not a lot of expense. Staff were lovely throughout and very willing to help make stay very nice. The terrapins and frogs in the 7 or so ponds around the resort made it seem like a small nature reserve, and one of my favourite stopping points on every excursion. I would give the hotel 4.5 out of 5 and the point deduction is only for the lack of choice in the food. The food that we did eat there was lovely though.

We had a lovely break, Les Deux Tours was beautiful. It was child-friendly, which meant (as we were leaving ours behind) that it was good we could retreat to our private courtyard. The food was very good. We had a delicious lunch on the rooftop of the Hotel Koutoubia, overlooking the medina and the Koutoubia mosque. We were needing a different flavour – this was a delicious curry in trendy surroundings. We are thinking of going again with the children this time.

Had the most fantastic holiday at Les Deux Tours -- it is the most fantastic place, perfect in every respect. The free bus service into Marrakech gives the perfect balance between gentle, sated relaxation and the wild excitement of the city nearby. Try supper from the stalls in the square -- an experience not to be missed. We ate like kings for £4, enjoying the vibrancy of it all, and didn't have any unpleasant consequences! The food is fresh and beautifully prepared. Give the scrum of it all a go!

This little oasis if wonderful. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We a lovely relaxing time at the hotel and the trip to the atlas mountains was fabulous. What more can I say but thank you for a lovely week in Morocco. Many thanks also to Albrect for his kindness.

Really lovely and charming Moroccan hotel set in beautiful gardens. It is incredibly peaceful and a lovely place to relax. Fabulous pool (28m, so big by hotel standards) and friendly service. The restaurant in the hotel was good, though the lunch buffet seemed on the expensive side and it was a pity that was the only lunch they were serving. We nipped across the road to Murano for lunch one day (delicious briouates). Try Le Foundouk and Le Comptoir for dinner, Kosy Bar for lunch and drinks but avoid Dar Marjana - it is overpriced and aimed squarely at the tour-group crowd with average food at best. Villa Rosa has now shut down.

We stayed at Les Deux Tours, fabulous hotel, lovely staff. The one tip we would give is use the shuttle bus the hotel offer it 3 times a day and its an added bonus when you are staying slightly out of town.

We had a great time at this hotel. I really recommend staying here, as it's great to be away from the central areas. It's a complete oasis of calm and luxury and the staff are great. Just remember to pack your iPod/books/sun lotion for endless hours by the pool. The hotel restaurant is unfortunately lacking on the menu side however you should definitely pre-order the couscous for one evening. The breakfast and poolside buffet lunch are also worth staying in for. There is a hotel just opposite Les Deux Tour that we visited for dinner - we don't recommend it as it again it's extremely boring and very overpriced. However the two hotels have a good relationship and guests are welcome to use the pool and the massive red sun loungers! The restaurant La Maison Arabe is definitely worth a visit for dinner - we could have gone back every night! Also, pay a visit to the Sofitel Marrakech for great cocktails and a wander around the Louis Vuitton store inside...which is a world away from the souks!
