The Guestbook
Hotel J is a lovely little hotel with a warm cosy feel, generated in large part by the open-plan kitchen/lounge area with roaring fire, coffee and biscuits provided and helpful and friendly staff. If you can drag yourself away from the views, the Royal Palace (particularly the Royal Apartments) are worth a visit. The experience is definitely enhanced if you can get yourself on one of the guided tours for the inside scoop and an array of interesting anecdotes. About town, there are a plethora of fun bars and restaurants to sample, Riche and Hotelett being amongst our faves, but if you get the chance to amble around the beautiful Gamma Stan area there are plenty of tucked-away little restaurants that are true gems. Enjoy.

Hotel J was an excellent place to stay. The setting was gorgeous, the decor was beautiful, and the staff - especially Hannah - were wonderful.

Eating in the hotel restaurant was a sublime experience as it is beautifully placed on the water. Food and wine were superb.
