The Guestbook
Across the town plaza from the hotel there is a little Italian restaurant called Scopa (not open on Mondays). The food was fantastic, genuinely Italian rather than an American version of Italian, with delicious fennel seed-studded biscotti, made by the owner's father, that came with coffee. The tables are crammed together creating a buzzy atmosphere and a very social space. Best to book ahead as it's very popular.
