The Loft Room and Bedroom 1 are the largest and can easily accommodate an extra bed. Room 2 only has space for a cot.
Activities
10 minutes' drive from Higher Westcott Farm, Dartmoor's Miniature Pony Centre (www.miniatureponycentre.co.uk) offers kids a hands-on experience of the region's famous tiny horses, as well as donkeys, kunekune pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, chipmunks and degus. Crealy Park (www.crealy.co.uk) has a host of rides and attractions suited to younger children.
Meals
Children are welcome in the restaurant for breakfast and supper between 5pm and 6pm, and there are high chairs and a kid's menu available. Chef Jo is well versed in dietary foibles and allergies, and is happy to prepare anything you request in advance. Packed lunches can be provided and milk or baby food can be heated at any time.
